At present the research centre has two research guides and 4 registered research students. The Department offers BSc Physics (Model I) course with Mathematics and Electronics as complementary subjects and MSc Physics with Material science as specialization. Both courses are in the aided stream. Apart from core Physics courses, open course in Physics- Our universe and complementary Physics for Chemistry are also offered by the department. The Department has a good library and well equipped UG, PG and research labs. The research lab facilities are open to students from other colleges also for carrying out PG level projects under the guidance of our department faculty.
